Creating Custom Jewellery

Every custom piece starts with a conversation. You might bring a photograph, a family heirloom, a museum piece you love, or just an idea. We turn that inspiration into a design that fits your wrist, your style and your budget.

1. ConsultationWe talk through your idea, references, metal choice, budget and timescale.
2. Design & blueprintWe prepare concept drawings like the one above, showing every view and detail.
3. 3D previewYou can turn the design around on screen and request changes before anything is made.
4. CraftingYour piece is made, finished, polished and checked for comfort and strength.

Because nothing is mass-produced, you can choose the details: the motif, the size of the centre panel, the number of links, the clasp style, and the metal, from solid gold to gold-plated silver. The result is a piece that is truly yours, and an heirloom in the making.

A Nod to Ancient Egypt

Few cultures loved gold like ancient Egypt. The Egyptians linked gold with the sun and the flesh of the gods, prizing it for its glow and because it never tarnishes. Their jewellers worked it into broad collars, cuffs, rings and amulets, often inlaid with deep-blue lapis lazuli, red carnelian and green-blue turquoise or faience.

Jewellery was about more than decoration. Scarabs, the eye of Horus and lotus flowers were worn for protection and rebirth, and treasured pieces went with their owners into the afterlife. The openwork panels, granulated borders and repeating rosettes of this bracelet draw on the same ancient tradition of telling stories in gold.
