Found in the Widgiemooltha goldfields, approximately 100 kilometers from Kalgoorlie, this nugget comes from a region famous for extensive alluvial gold. It was discovered by a family of full-time prospectors whose generational knowledge led them to a rich patch within days of activating their leases. Alongside a major reef deposit, the patch produced ounces of alluvial nuggets - a form of gold that makes up only 1% of global production.
