Born from the desert and recovered in Leonora country, this nugget has a natural heart-like form that feels symbolic of the land it came from. Dry conditions, ancient ground, and slow geological processes have shaped it into something unmistakably Australian. The find comes from a generational Indigenous prospector, someone whose knowledge of gold is inseparable from their knowledge of land. This nugget is a reflection of that connection - a piece of desert gold that tells a story of place, heritage, and the enduring relationship between people and country.
